Executive Board

Every year, SMA members vote to fill vacated positions of the SMA Executive Board, comprised of seven of their peers who advocate on their behalf and organize initiatives leading up to and during the annual SMA conference. Only SMA professional members are eligible to vote for members of the SMA Executive Board.

Board Elections

We invite current SMA professional members to elect new Executive Board members to serve members in the following vacated positions: VP of Student Affairs and President Elect/President. The elected board member will serve in their role for a term of three years, except for President Elect/President which is a four-year term.

The elections open May 25, 2026 and close May 29, 2026 at 11:59pm PDT.
